How Many Acts of Kindness Have You Seen Today?

Life is full of acts of kindness. Persons help each other because it is the right thing to do. Individuals live by the golden rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Here is a post that appeared on Facebook that illustrates kindness.

A woman sitting in her car at a petro station takes a picture of a man helping two little boys. The front wheel of one of their bikes has come loose. The youngster is holding his upturned bike, intent on watching the man tighten the bolts. A second little boy is watching.

Why is this unusual?

It is raining cats and dogs. They are drenched to the bone.

How do you think the kids felt? Let’s get out of this rain!

Yes!

This act of kindness will stay with these children for the rest of their life. The gentleman who repaired the bike felt happy and accomplished. These kids may pay it forward one day for someone in a similar situation. Kindness is contagious!

What impact do you think it had on the people on Facebook who saw the post? The comments reflected the belief that there are good Samaritans. It may have made them want to help those in need.

Life is full of acts of kindness. You need to know where to look.

Have you ever been in line to buy coffee, and the person in front of you pays for it? Did this act of generosity put a smile on your face? Did it raise the vibration of everyone in the line? Most definitely! Have you ever seen someone pay for a stranger’s groceries when they did not have enough money? Or, stop on the highway to help an elderly gentleman change a flat tire?

There are so many good people in the world.

Isn’t it great that you are one of them?
